PLAYBOY Philippines celebrates its 50th issue by showcasing Arriane Mondido, the first Filipina PLAYBOY Bunny, as its cover girl for the month of March.
“I’m proud to have been the first Filipina Bunny and I’m even prouder and honored that I was chosen to be on the cover of the magazine’s golden issue,” she gushed.
PLAYBOY Bunnies, just like their animal counterpart, are expected to be playful and lovable but according to Mondido, there’s more to it than meets the eye.
“It takes a lot of hard work and discipline to really make it as a Bunny. Iniisip ng tao party-party lang siya but it’s really not. We undergo very rigorous training and we’re expected to always act like a lady and be conscious of our actions,” she explained. “But, of course, they also encourage us to have fun,” she happily amended.
The web magazine is also packed with its usual crop of insightful features and articles. In The Coolidge Effect, renowned clinical psychologist, Dr. Margie Holmes, discusses the reasons why men want variety in their lives; a perfect accompaniment to Hef’s Girlfriends: A Romantic Retrospective where they list down the many ‘loves’ of PLAYBOY founder, Hugh Hefner, throughout the years.
Mike Enriquez, co-anchor of GMA’s 24Oras and host of Imbestigador, is also featured as March’s Man of the Month and delights readers with his views on media, politics, and current affairs.
